For Good is Blue Prism’s corporate social responsibility initiative, based on the 8th UN Sustainability Goal, "Decent Work and Economic Growth."

The Blue Prism For Good initiative addresses four distinct areas:

These are unified by our vision to unleash society’s full potential and inspire the future of work through automation. As a predominantly grassroots movement, all suggestions and ideas for volunteering are welcomed.

Charities We Are Working With

Charity & Fundraising

Internally, we fundraise for specific charity partners chosen by our staff in each country and support key charities at a global level through employee-run activities, sales and challenges.

Orlando Raffle

We held raffles at our Blue Prism World events, offering prizes generously donated by our customers and staff – raising £5,000 across both London and Orlando.

Red Nose Day Warrington

£500 raised through bake sales in London and Warrington and a charity car wash in Warrington. Red Nose Day supports Comic relief and raises money to help children living tough lives around the world.

Charity Golf Day

Our inaugural charity golf day was held at the highly prestigious St George’s Hill Golf Club in Weybridge – one of the oldest and finest courses in the world. Alongside a fabulous day of golf, we raised £10k for our UK Charity Partners. A great day was had by all!

Supported St. Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital

Donated $182k to St Jude Children’s Cancer Hospital in support of their charity function which took place in Miami with over 350 people in attendance.

For Good promotes events and activities that encourage our employees to bring their whole self to work, and we proudly support the Women in RPA initiative and ongoing diversity and inclusion work being done across the business.

JPMCC London

13 people ran the 5km charity event = £1,000 donated. The JP Morgan Corporate Challenge is run in 13 cities globally and aims to bring employees from companies all over the world together to raise money, enjoy a healthy bit of competition and promote a healthy lifestyle. In London over 30,000 runners took part in the 5km run around Battersea Park all in aid for the Alzheimer’s Society.

CALM

We participated in the CALM Suicide prevention cup – the event raised £21k in total. We had a team of both Blue Prism Cloud and BP players playing in Shoreditch, London against other Tech companies and although we didn’t win, we had a great afternoon of football comradery and fun followed by some well-earned drinks and burgers. The event was in aid of raising the profile of the Suicide prevention charity CALM. It aims to reduce the number of male suicides – with suicide being the lead killer for men under 40.

Not-for-Profits

We are currently piloting a program to support not-for-profit organizations with UK charity Mencap, supported by Royal Bank of Canada, EY and Human+. Blue Prism connected-RPA is being successfully used at Mencap to automate the daily transition of data from excel spreadsheets to Resource Link, the charity’s HR platform. As a result, employees are now able to apply their efforts to the most productive, value-added tasks during the working day.

Education

We are a key sponsor of the EY Foundation Smart Futures program for 2020, which helps children from low income backgrounds receive paid work experience and training with Blue Prism, as well as ongoing mentorship and support from Blue Prism staff. In 2019, we also proudly supported Operation Backpack in Chicago, donating hundreds of backpacks and school supplies to the Morton School of Excellence, where more than one-third of pupils were homeless.
